Welcome to Rosemary
The Village of Rosemary, located on Highway 550 about 30 km north west of the City of Brooks and 14 km north of the TransCanada Highway (Highway 1), boasts a population of nearly 400 people. The Village is located in the heart of the County of Newell.
The Village was established in December 31, 1951 but was first settled in the early 1900s. Today, almost one-third of the population is made up of young people. Rosemary’s pride rests with its newly renovated school and a host of recreation opportunities. Ball diamonds, tennis courts, track, beach volleyball and recreation centre with ice rink keep this community active. The Village also has a new fire hall.
